Overview Summer 2019 Internship

The Summer Intern position is the first step in your career with Promontory Financial Group Canada ULC. As an Intern, you will have a unique hands-on experience in business development, client work, and other projects. You will be challenged to develop your knowledge in our areas of expertise, the financial service industry, and our client's business issues while building your skills in communications, problem solving, and consulting.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to projects involving strategic qualitative analysis, financial quantitative analysis, and research.
• Gathers, analyzes, and interprets data related to the scope of the project.
• Prepares presentations and participates in crafting other documents for the project team and client.
• Assists with project planning, team organization, and coordination.

Qualifications we look for a wide range of background, skills and attributes in our Interns, most importantly candidates who are motivated and dedicated to continuous growth and improvement and who possess exceptional intellectual curiosity, persistence and creativity in problem solving

Candidates should work well with a team-oriented focus, but at the same time must be able to perform independent work. Planning, leadership and strong written and oral communication skills are essential, as are attention to detail and pride of workmanship.

Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access.
