The OppenheimerFunds Summer Internship Program targets rising seniors and graduate students entering final semester/year of academic study. Interns contribute to impactful projects while developing a robust understanding of asset management and team strategy/objectives.

Job Purpose

Proofread copy that is developed on a range of investment topics for a variety of audiences (including retail investors, financial advisors, and institutions) and in multiple media formats (print, email, Web, social media and video).

This position reports to the Copyeditor.

Principal Responsibilities

• Proofread content to ensure that it is devoid of grammatical and typographical errors.

• Ensure printout matches original/hardcopy.

• Check for consistency of style and adherence to company brand voice.

• Review for sense and clarity.

• Ensure literature is aimed at correct target audience, i.e., broker/institutional vs. consumer/retail.

• Ensure all content has appropriate disclosure.

• Perform quality control at end of content and design development process to ensure integrity of copy.

• Rising Senior (Class of 2018)

• Pursuing degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field.

• Meticulous attention to details.

• Polished personal style and ability to be a flexible team player.

• Ability to handle multiple projects on tight deadlines.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
