HOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (SHIFTS WILL VARY AND ARE SUBJECT TO SCHEDULE NEEDS/40+ HOURS PER WEEK)

Prosperity Bank is seeking to fill the position of Commercial Lender in the Austin, Congress banking center.

The Commercial Lender will be primarily responsible for generating and underwriting new commercial loans for both conventional and SBA existing and prospective customers. This position will close and service approved loans including the servicing of the existing portfolio. Assist in the marketing activities for the Bank through involvement in the community. Also, develop profitable deposit and loan relationships through a well-planned calling effort on existing customers and referral sources. A full description of duties will be available upon hiring.

Required Experience

Associate degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.

Specialized knowledge of specific markets in order to serve defined territories.

Knowledge of Bank lending and collections programs, policies, and procedures.

Familiarity with property management and maintenance procedures.

Understanding of credit and financial analysis and determination of credit worthiness.

Three to five years of lending experience.

Commercial Lending experience preferred.

Real estate and origination background preferred.

PC skills in Word and Excel.
