    JOB SUMMARY

    Public Finance Program Analyst assists registered personnel in data entry, document administration and other administrative tasks as well as limited quantitative tasks. The role supports registered personnel in administering programs including housing finance agency mortgage programs and/or tender option bond programs. The role supports registered personnel in client facing responsibilities.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Creating and maintaining electronic files for documents.

    • Document review and quality control, including identifying discrepancies between documents and excel reports.

    • Data entry and tracking using Excel spreadsheets.

    • Document preparation, as needed and requested.

    • Invoice preparation based on inputs from Excel spreadsheets.

    • If applicable, Tender Option Bond set-up with DTC and TOB closing monitoring.

    • Phone coverage

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong computer and communication skills.

    • Proficient in internet navigation, typing, and use of modern business communications.

    • Client service skills including a sense of urgency meeting client requests.

    • Ability to work as a team and as an individual.

    • Sense of responsibility for dealing with confidential and sensitive information.

    • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

    • Strong attention to detail.

    • Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • High standard of professionalism in all dealings with internal staff and external clients.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum Required: B.S. or B.A., or equivalent work experience

    • Minimum Required: 1 plus years related experience

    SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

    Base salary annualized range: $55,300 - $67,600 Actual salaries may vary, and may be based on several factors, including but not limited to each candidate’s qualifications, skills, and overall competencies for the position. The base salary is one component of Stifel’s overall compensation package for each individual employee.
