Public Relations, Internal Communications and the Creative Studio are looking for interns to support our content and creative strategies across our internal and external corporate communications channels. Responsibilities for this energetic, highly organized, self-starter include supporting the departments’ daily activities to write content and create creative designs for corporate communications.

Responsibilities:

• Writing short-form and long-form content such as social posts, blogs and press releases for external channels
• Supporting the execution of digital content strategies for multiple clients across our social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Glassdoor)
• Assisting with other weekly reporting activities and special projects as assigned
• Writing headlines, summaries and articles for internal communications channels (Intranet, daily newsletter)
• Working with our in-house design studio to develop visually compelling graphics, photography and videos for social media and Intranet

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

• Currently working towards an undergraduate degree in communications or related field; preferably a program with a strong writing emphasis.
• Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
• Available to work from May 2020 to August 2020
• Expected graduation in either December 2020 or May 2021
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Experience in effective, inspiring, inventive visual storytelling
• Familiarity with SharePoint
• Familiarity with emerging corporate social media trends and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, take direction and work collaboratively
• Experience with social media analytics
