POSITION SUMMARY:
This role will be hybrid in our Irvington, NY office The EILEEN FISHER Direct to Consumer channel is the greatest expression of our brand vision. The DTC Buying Team plays a crucial role in bringing that vision to life through the product assortment. The DTC Buying Coordinator is responsible for managing the set up and flow of all information through our Retail System and into Company Systems. The DTC Buying Coordinator leads the process of information set up, product attribution, creation of product lists, and order entry, so that the team may pull insights on many different aspects related to orders and selling. Later in the product lifecycle, the DTC Buying Coordinator is responsible for adjusting product pricing through markdowns and promotions. Managing competing deadlines and data accuracy is a key part of this crucial operations role.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for leading and executing the process of information set up and attribution in our retail system • Outline timelines for product set up, order entry, sizing, and product lists to ensure deadlines are met • Has knowledge and understanding of Company Systems inner working and connections and data flow • Maintain product matrixes used for attribution and report pulling (department, class, price, fabric, color) • Enter projections into wholesale system and sized purchase orders into wholesale and retail systems • Create and maintain official product lists used by many other teams for photography and style set up • Share early buys with teams to order samples and begin copy-writing work • Responsible for entering markdowns and promotions • Responsible for style set-up, verification and attribution in our retail system • Manage manual set up of styles not in wholesale systems or catalog, such as Shoes and Waste No More styles • Create pre-order and late styles lists and distributes to other teams • Troubleshoot a variety of issues such as product information, order maintenance, and reporting related to information set up
Required Skills Required Experience
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree Required
• 3 years of related experience in the retail or wholesale apparel industry • Strong problem-solving skills • Highly flexible individual who can adapt and manage change easily • High level of experience and proficiency in Excel • Ability to work in a collaborative environment • Ability to prioritize and handle competing priorities • Strong attention to detail • Strong communication skills
