The Position: The Loan Specialist performs a variety of back office functions related to servicing booked and active loans in the Direct Lending and Vendor Finance portfolios primarily dealing with internal RAF departments and customers. Primary functions include receipts and disbursements processing and audit and review functions. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: * Post receipts and adjustments to customeraccounts in two loan systems. * Validate and process customer billing statements. * Loan payoff calculations including yield maintenance fee calculation. * Solely responsible for maintaining loan system data and address change processing. * Quality review of legal documents for booked work packages financial term information to assure alignment. * Loan disbursements including funding to line of credit customer accounts and maintenance of bank account information thereon. * Process Buy and Sell side Syndication transactions. Provide accurate and timely notification to Syndication Partners. * Provide support to Customer Support Team and Customer Relationship Team staff inquiries. * Cross train and perform secondary/backup duties related to all aspects of servicing an agricultural mortgage and operating loan portfolio. * Maintain processes and procedures of all assigned areas of responsibility. * Completion of all assigned areas of responsibility in timely manner, typically on a daily cycle basis.
