    You will join our Advanced Manufacturing department.

    As our new Construction Manager, you will be part of a team who studies drawings and specifications to plan and sequence procurement and construction activities, plan proper construction means and methods, staff projects based on the construction plan, based on knowledge of available tools, equipment, and various construction methods.

    Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

    • Plans, schedules, and oversees other superintendents, supervisors, administrators on project related activities.
    • Assembles members of organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, and other workers) at start of project to review job specific issues (schedules, health & safety issues, subcontractor coordination, etc.). Assign roles and responsibilities for field activities in accordance with the PEP.
    • Leads team with the change orders process including proper notification, supporting data gathering/organization development for Project Manager review and processing.
    • Participates actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.
    • Serve as Project Site Safety Leader (in absence of full time EHS Supervisor).
    • Collaborates with Project Manager in the development and modification to the Project Execution Plan (PEP). Provide updates to the Project Manager in accordance with the PEP as it relates to cost, schedule, and client management.
    • Estimates cost of materials, labor and use of equipment required to successfully manage change during a project.
    • As the primary interface with clients during a project, obtains client feedback and maintains client relationships.
    • Manages the execution of the commissioning and closeout processes.
    • Adheres to the policies and standards set forth in the Firm’s Quality Management System.

    • Associate degree in applied science and 3-5+ years relevant years of experience, or bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or related technical discipline and 0-3+ of relevant experience.
    • Construction sequencing and planning, construction scheduling/durations, safety planning, means and methods.
    • Travel required (80-100%)
    • Previous experience in a construction related field (management level not required)
    • Ability to read plans/drawings/specifications and interpret data.
    • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge and familiarity with Project Scheduling and Job Costing.
