2019 Spring Internship-Marketing Web Administration - Req. 1803484 -Description Job Summary: Raymond James Marketing seeks an experienced Web Development intern with proven production skills to work in a fast paced environment, be creative, proactive, energetic, hardworking, dedicated, organized, focused and detail-oriented. The Web Intern will work within the Marketing Agency creating a user-centered design that provides an intuitive and innovative experience for our clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Creating online interactive components for advertising and marketing -Assisting in the HTML coding and development for websites, e-newsletters and social media -Specified projects and varied assignments -Gathering and adding content to development webpages in a CMS (content management system) -Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned -Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of: -Conceptual thinking for both visual and interactive media -Must demonstrate a sensitivity and knowledge for color theory, typography, composition, animation and motion graphics -Fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of a professional office environment. Skill in: -HTML/CSS, with direct experience optimizing design concepts around these technologies -Working knowledge in JavaScript, and/or jQuery -Experience using a Content Management System a plus -Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite a plus -Operating standard office equipment's and using, or have the ability to learn, required software applications. Ability to: -Solve development problems with the ability to create a consistent, on-brand digital products -Organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. -Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. -Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. -Provide a high level of customer service. -Establish and maintain effective working relationships Educational/Previous Experience Requirements: Must be enrolled in a degree seeking program Majors: Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Design Interested candidate encouraged to provide online examples of work Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
