Deposit Operations Specialist- Raymond James Bank - Req. 1800730 -Description Deposit Operations Specialist- Raymond James Bank Department:Raymond James Bank, Client Services Location:Raymond James Bank, Corporate Headquarters: St. Petersburg, FL Job Summary & Responsibilities: Raymond James is hiring a Deposit Operations Specialist to support our Raymond James Banks clients daily transaction which include: -ACH and Check Processing -General Ledger and Account Reconciliations -ATM Balancing -Back Office Operations -General Customer Service & Support The ideal candidate will: -Have approximately three years of banking operations or teller services experience. -Exceptional attention to detail and experience using MS Excel on a daily basis. -A commitment to learning, dedication to our clients, and excellent customer service skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -May lead the work of others and provide cross-training, coaching and mentoring, as required. -Monitors workflows to ensure assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner. -Participates in human resource management activities, including participating in the interviewing and selection, performance evaluation and progressive discipline processes, as required. -Assists with the annual budget process and regular review of financial statements. -Identifies and resolves systemic and operational issues. -Initiates efficiency and productivity improvements. -Assists with special projects, as required. -Maintains currency in operations and human resource management practices, policies and procedures. -Operates standard office equipment and uses required software applications. -Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. -Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of: -Concepts, practices, policies and procedures of human resource management. -Operations and systems of assigned functional area. -Fundamental project management tools, techniques and procedures. -General accounting procedures. -Basic investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry, principles of banking and finance and securities industry operations and/or financial markets and products, as required by assigned functional area. Skill in: -Ensuring the work of others is completed accurately and on time. -Identifying and resolving systemic and operational issues. -Analyzing operational processes and processes and identifying opportunities for improvement. -Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications.
