    Job description

    Human Resources leads the implementation of HSBC’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility, while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, recruitment and engagement.

    The Emerging Talent Campus Recruiter will be part of the US HR Talent Acquisition Emerging Talent team, supporting the recruitment efforts for our Emerging Talent programs. This role is primarily responsible for supporting Emerging Talent sourcing, recruitment, and pipeline management and maintenance of the programs including Rising Junior, Internship, and Graduate Analyst.

    Success in this role is defined as creating an inclusive team of bankers and staff, finding the best talent in a competitive market and creating a culture where leaders consider a holistic approach to talent acquisition and talent development.

    As our Campus recruiter, you will assist in execution of recruitment and selection efforts for the Emerging Talent Programs - including supporting the program manager in activities such as: selection of recruitment partners, university out-reach, branding efforts, participate in college career days, sourcing talent via platforms and events, and assessing candidates for junior positions and early careers programs. This will involve attending local recruitment events and assisting with on-the-ground representation for recruitment activities as well as managing business logistics of program management including but not limited to event management, securing business representatives, program event venues, promotional inventory, budget oversite, and keep warm activities.

    For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $82,600 and $123,900.

    The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

    n appropriate mix of fixed pay, and variable pay, as part of an employee’s overall total compensation and benefits. Variable pay generally takes the form of discretionary, annual awards (sometimes referred to as a “bonus”).     Requirements

    • Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience in Early Career recruitment and sourcing strategy
    • Given that the role holder is the primary point of contact on campus to deliver our Emerging Talent strategy, excellent written and verbal communications skills are required
    • Strong ability to coordinate and support on-site events
    • Highly motivated and able to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding environment
    • Experience with administration support which may include creating presentations (data storytelling); coordination and support of recruitment activities (calendar, travel, school contact information, budget); partnership coordination
    • Strong ability to partner with program management and Inclusion & Diversity leadership to further develop and execute on sourcing opportunities; share best practices and business cases for new and innovative approaches/programs; execute and participate in those programs
    • Experience in researching best practices, pay, programs etc. to ensure HSBC’s program is in line with the US Market Proven and progressive business and/or human resources experience or equivalent
    • Intermediate/Advance user of Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Excel pivots/charts)
