Bloomberg's Externships are an amazing opportunity for students across diverse backgrounds to participate in one of our signature early engagement initiatives.

We’re hosting a virtual information session at 5:30 PM ET on Tuesday, February 6 to give you the chance to explore the opportunities offered through our Analytics & Sales Externship Programs.

About the Externship:

Bloomberg is hosting its Analytics & Sales Externship in New York and San Francisco on May 20-23

Both programs will give you exposure to financial markets, access to Bloomberg leadership, professional development training, and priority when applying to our 2025 Summer Internship program – all while experiencing a unique company culture built on our values of diversity, inclusion and philanthropy.

At the end of the program, participants may interview for a 2025 internship within Bloomberg’s Analytics & Sales program.

Who we’re looking for:

Bloomberg is committed to advancing individuals from underrepresented backgrounds. The Analytics & Sales Externship program is open to sophomores, including without limitation, who identify as Black, African-American, Hispanic, Latinx, Native, Indigenous and/or are first-generation college students. If you’re a college sophomore with an interest in finance, business and technology, regardless of major or discipline, this session is for you.

Additionally, Externship participants...

• Are interested in finance, business and technology, regardless of major or discipline.

• Have ambition to pursue a client-facing career, with a strong interest in relationship management and sales.

• Can commit to a 10-week internship at Bloomberg during June-August 2025, if given an internship offer.

• Are legally authorized to work full time in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident/green card holder, refugee, asylee).
