Our core competencies include systems engineering, program and project management, logistics, information technology and cyber security, and software development services. We were founded in 1990 and since our establishment we have been providing cutting edge solutions and support to our warfighters. We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.

     

    We are currently seeking a Technical Writer and Proposal Analyst to manage Precise led and subcontracted proposal efforts where candidates will be responsible for content (quality, accuracy, thoroughness, completeness, compliance and format).  

     

    Additionally they will: 

    • Exploit knowledge of the selection process to guide interactions with your customer after proposal submittal.
    • Manage all phases of the proposal development process in response to formal Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
    • Participate in the analysis of proposal opportunities and participate in GO/NO GO decisions.
    • Understand and maintain knowledge of the information technology and management consulting industries.
    • Manage/track all aspects of proposal preparation, revision and submission; coordinate inputs from technical, contracts, and finance departments; and coordinate internal reviews with upper management.
    • Structure, develop, write, and edit proposal sections building the response around the RFP/Client requirements, in a creative, compelling, and compliant manner.
    • Write/prepare major sections of proposals, including but not limited to management and certain technical approach sections and executive summaries tailored for specific RFP requirements. Can successfully develop proposal shell/template, write cover letters, administrative requirements, staffing sections, "our understanding" sections, past performance references sections. Demonstrate creativity and excellent writing/editing skills.
    • Act as project manager for RFP responses by coordinating with multiple departments and practice areas to develop effective/compelling proposals.
    • Participate in developing win themes. Identify customer references to be considered. Customize customer references and resumes to reflect the specific RFP/Client criteria and requirements.
    • Develop written questions and seek clarification from procurement officials throughout the RFP/procurement process and remain current on all amendments and modifications.
    • Conduct proposal quality assurance/compliance review to ensure proposals adhere to RFP specifications and clients' requirements. Must have ability to specify corrective methods to resolve compliance issues.
    • Manage and conduct color reviews during proposal development.
    • Act independently and proactively to analyze and solve complex proposal problems and address issues with the proper level of urgency.
    • Work on multiple proposals, balancing milestones and due dates of each.
    • Coordinate proposal printing, assembling, mailing/shipping.

     

     

    Required Education: BA/BS in Business, English, Management or Technical Field, MA/MS is desired.

     

     

    Required Experience: Minimum experience should be five years of experience in the DoD/USN environment with an emphasis of developing technical and programmatic content.  Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage timelines and responsibilities. Experience working on proposals in any capacity is desired (but not required).

    1. Experience working with students or clients through advising, counseling, coaching, and developing goals.
    2. Experience assessing student needs and coordinating educational and community-based services to address those needs.
    3. Experience managing caseload and case files or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
    4. Demonstrated skills in making public presentations and teaching or training diverse groups.
    5. Must be able to travel within the community using personal transportation.

     

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Science, Counseling, or related field.
