    LOOK NO FURTHER: REDWOOD CREDIT UNION IS LOOKING FOR A DMV COORDINATOR (NAPA) THAT WANT SOMETHING MORE! This DMV Coordinator, under general supervision, performs a variety of routine duties within the Lending Operations department including filing, typing, and answering the phones.  Primary duty is to oversee daily Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) duties. Additionally, this person would also:

    • Release titles to members upon loan payoff
    • Perform basic file maintenance on members account as needed
    • Submit all vehicle/vessel title documents to DMV to ensure RCU is lienholder for secured loans
    • File Uniform Commercial Codes (UCC) with Secretary of State on collateral as required
    • Reconcile DMV refunds and receipts after completion of processing
    • Maintain paperless title system to ensure all pending liens and errors are completed and correct
    • Obtain California Vehicle Record (CVR) reports for staff as requested
    • Order all DMV forms for consumer lending department and branches
    • Track titles from other institution on all refinanced loans to ensure proper lienholder
    • Return titles to members when received in error from another financial institution
    • Provide exceptional service to all members, volunteers, internal employees, and service providers
    • Ensure confidentiality and safeguard sensitive member information
    • Research and resolve member and employee concerns as directed
    • Represent RCU in a courteous and professional manner at all times
    • Supply members with accurate information regarding loan products and services
    • Supply branch staff with support to assist in resolution of DMV issues

     

    Required Skills

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Thorough knowledge of personal computers with internet and intranet access and office equipment
    • Thorough knowledge of modern office administration techniques and methods
    • Ability to coordinate a variety of activities simultaneously and prioritize work
    • Ability to operate an internet based DMV title system
    • Ability to act independently and confidentially, using discretion and tact
    • Ability to operate a telephone system effectively
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people including vendors and other Credit Union employees
    • Ability and desire to work in a team environment
    • Ability to analyze situations and recommend solutions

    Required Experience

    ADDITIONALLY, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

    • A combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and 2 years related experience in a clerical position.
