    Position Summary

    As the EILEEN FISHER Renew Merchandising & Outbound Supervisor, you are responsible for leading the merchandising and outbound logistics operations of the Renew warehouse, including assortment development, and overseeing order fulfillment, quality assurance, and shipping — consistent with the EILEEN FISHER mission, practices, and core values.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Daily Responsibilities

    ● Lead a team of 3 merchandising associates

    ● Develop and curate compelling merchandise assortments that align with visual merchandising standards, reflect the needs of each store's market, and enhance customer experience

    ● Merchandise and fulfill orders for Mainline Stores, Company Stores, Renew Stores, and Renew.com in alignment

    ● Ensure consistent replenishment of best-selling products, complete size runs, and key merchandise across retail stores and e-commerce site

    ● Tag and price garments for outbound orders

    ● Perform quality assurance on all outgoing garments

    ● Sort and maintain garments in backstock

    ● Track and report outbound inventory and productivity

    ● Maintain organization of categories; maximize efficiency and space

    ● Box and label outgoing donation shipments; process UPS shipments for outgoing orders

    Team Leadership and Support

    ● Accountable for outbound inventory, expense control, and day-to-day operations, communications, and procedures

    ● Serve as an engaged, vision-oriented leader who motivates, directs, and supports associate recruitment, training, and development, with an emphasis on nurturing talent and growth

    ● Mentor and develop staff, providing opportunities to learn all aspects of running Outbound/Merchandising operations

    ● Maintain a safe, clean environment, including upkeep of facilities and equipment

    ● Manage daily associate workflow based on business priorities

    ● Maintain vendor relationships

    ● Maintain relationships with distribution points to ensure garment quality and standards

    ● Stay current on systems and processes, driving continuous improvement

    ● Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, with the team and cross functional teams

    ● Conduct and submit annual Development Dialogues for each employee

    ● Embrace new tools and technology

    Education

    B.A. in a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    ● Experience building product assortments that align with customer and store aesthetic

    ● Strong eye for detail, with demonstrated awareness of women's apparel trends, garment quality, and merchandising standards

    ● 1+ years of supervisory experience in factory, warehouse, or inventory operations management required

    ● Experience managing teams of 3+ people required

    ● Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and adaptable

    ● Strong strategic leadership, time-management, and organizational skills

    ● Demonstrated ability in navigating ambiguity and openness to new approaches and change

    ● Passionate about nurturing a positive, supportive work environment

    ● Skilled at identifying merchandising opportunities across retail locations to support business goals and drive additional revenue

    ● Strong problem-solving skills; able to adapt quickly to changing business needs and strategies

    ● Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. at floor level and/or team-lift when necessary

    ● Ability to climb ladders, twist, bend, and stoop to retrieve items from floor, shelves, and hooks

    Supervises: Merchandising Associates

    Reports to: Director of Renew Operations

    Partners with: Warehouse Teams, Retail Field Team, and Omni Store Operations

    The salary range for this role is $55,000 - 65,000/yr. dependent upon experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, eligibility for Annual Company Bonus plan, Employee Stock Ownership, etc.

    In addition to the above requirements, Boston University Public Safety also seeks the following skills and experience:

    • A friendly, courteous, helpful and professional attitude

    • Candidates will be required to pass a comprehensive criminal and financial background check, psychological examination and pre-employment medical exam

    • Strong problem solving and decision making skills while addressing complex and/or dynamic situations, under stressful conditions or within limited time constraints
    • Must be able to maintain clearances, training, and performance standards as prescribed by the University and Department.

    This position has a 12-month Probationary Period. This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement after the probationary period.
