    Intern - Accounting Internship Tweet Apply with LinkedIn Apply now * * Posted: November 19, 2018 * Full-Time * * Louisville, KY, United States Job Details Description POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: The Accounting Intern is responsible for performing a variety of accounting clerical duties under the direct supervision of management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: â?¢ Active pursuit of Accounting, Finance, Business/Economics or related degree required. â?¢ Strong MS Office skills including, but not limited to: Excel (2010 and above), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: â?¢ Perform various general ledger and internal DDA reconciliations. â?¢ Prepare the weekly FR2900 Federal Reserve Report. â?¢ Prepare the weekly FR2644 Federal Reserve Report. â?¢ Post weekly DDA charge-offs. â?¢ Tie out all SEC filings and other Financial Reports. â?¢ Ensure compliance with company accounting policies to include maintenance of internal controls and process documentation. â?¢ Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required. â?¢ Model and foster behaviors that support the Bankâ??s values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability and dedication to the organization. â?¢ Willingly performs all other duties and projects assigned. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: â?¢ Candidate should possess a natural curiosity for how banks work. â?¢ Must be comfortable around technology. â?¢ Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills. â?¢ Requires a high energy level and strong sense of urgency. â?¢ Meticulous to detail and extremely organized.
