    As the Events Manager, Client Events and Roadshows Coordinator you’ll work as a key team member to organize, manage and facilitate roadshows and conferences, on direction from and in liaison with the business, for stakeholders in both a virtual and physical capacity. This role works closely with other Client Events & Roadshows team members locally, regionally, and globally. You will need to have the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.

    Here’s what you can expect:

    The Events Manager, Client Events and Roadshows Coordinator plans and execute Deal Roadshows, Non-Deal Roadshows, Events, Field Trips and Conferences in both a virtual and physical capacity, ideally within the finance industry. Execute multiple events, with varying deadlines in a high-pressure environment aligned with business objectives. Provide advice and support to the business on most efficient and cost-effective way to achieve maximum meeting/presentation opportunities with clients. Occasionally support other members of the Client Events & Roadshows team on the delivery of other events including roadshows, presentations, seminars, and hospitality events.

    For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $87,200 and $130,700.

    The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

    Requirements

    • Experience managing presentations, seminars, and hospitality events including logistics, Speaker Management, and 1:1 Group Meeting Allocations
    • Experience/knowledge of online event platforms including building websites via our in-house proprietary system, writing communications for invites and scheduling investor meetings.
    • Manage and process all E&R department invoices via the Fusion system.
    • Experience with venue selections, ground transportation companies and booking travel.
    • Ability to work with minimum supervision, under pressure, extreme tight timelines and to cover projects across different time zones/regions.
    • Excellent time management, strong organization skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
    • Be a good team player with a positive attitude where willingness to learn/share attitude is essential.
    • Willing to work onsite to support/execute project analysis required.
    • Have demonstrable experience of managing budgets for individual events; work strategically to negotiate and leverage spend; post event evaluation and analysis
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
