    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    The Northern Trust Rotational Development Program (RDP) is designed to develop the technical skills, business acumen, and leadership abilities of early career professionals.

    During this 18 month program, participants will have the opportunity to perform meaningful assignments in various rotations while gaining a broader perspective, along with exposure to leadership of the different departments in their chosen career track. Rotations are selected based on the business need as well as the RDP member’s career interests, goals, and skills. The Asset Management (NTAM) track will allow partners to rotate through the main pillars of NTAM including investments, sales and distribution, and product and strategy.

    Sample Projects:

    • Work on analytical research of market related topics
    • Assist preparation of marketing and sales prospecting materials
    • Research competitors and peer product offerings
    • Analyze investment performance data

    Sample Career Paths:

    • Associate Analyst, Alternative Investments  
      
    • Investment Associate
    • Wealth Advisory Associate

    WHO YOU ARE

    • You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university with an expected graduation between December 2023 and Summer 2024
    • You have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • You have an interest in and are curious to learn more about financial markets and investing
    • You have proven analytical, quantitative, programming, and problem-solving skills through course work, projects, and or previous internship experience
    • You have demonstrated leadership and teamwork through projects and extracurricular involvement
    • You have a strong understanding in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
