Education : Bachelors Degree Description : What is the opportunity?As a Financial Advisor Transition Consultant, you play a key role supporting financial advisor (FA) recruits as they move their business to RBC. With boots on the ground, you'll be in our branch offices working closely with the new FA, their team and branch staff to be a resource during the transition period. Your role is crucial as you support bringing new assets to our Wealth Management (WM) business from the FA recruits prior financial institution. Your role will require you to travel to offices across the country. When you're not in the branch, you'll work to establish new FA recruit on-boarding processes, track FA recruit pipeline, and education the branches on best practices. To be successful, you'll need to be highly organized with a hyper sensitivity to details and confidentiality. Not only will you need to be task driven, but this role will challenge you to lead various projects and initiatives to improve the overall FA on-boarding.What will you do?Collaborate with complex/branch management teams, FA recruit, and recruiting consultants in order to understand the FA recruit's transition needs, develop, communicate, and execute on a transition plan.Educate branch & complex transition contacts on integration "best practices" and available resources; effectively liaise with complex /branch personnel as necessary throughout the recruiting and transition process.Work closely with the Manager, Advisor Transition to update and improve upon the tools, resources, and best practices for branches and complexes that will provide the best possible transition experience for the FAs and clients.Administrative tasks associated with client account opening, asset transfer, tracking the various required documents for account transfers and set-up, etc.Introduce RBC products and services to new advisors as they transition to RBC.Provide basic training on RBC systems, procedures, compliance and culture and prioritize and schedule FA transition projects and initiatives.Conduct follow-up evaluations with new FA recruits to gain insight into potential procedure improvements; revise processes and procedures as appropriate, as well as to obtain testimonials and referral sources for future candidates.Develop, update and maintain all communication portals for new FA recruits and branch/complex management, develop additional portals as necessary.What do you need to succeed?Must-haveBachelor's degree from an accredited university in Finance, Business, Economics or related experience.5+ years of progressive business experience with 3+ years retail brokerage experience.Minimum 1 year of experience in a role requiring interactions with financial advisors or senior executives.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of office technology and computer systems with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize competing projects.Nice-to-haveSeries 7 and 63/66 licenses.Previous branch experience (client associate, branch service manager, etc.).What's in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
