POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for a variety of financial duties surrounding the planning, analysis and reporting functions. This includes assisting in periodic reporting of financial results, forecasts, annual budget process, variance analysis, and client & product profitability, data mining and special projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in updating complex financial and pricing models
• Assists in updating client profitability analysis, servicing unit costing and product profitability
• Assists with the preparation of financial management reports and financial variance analysis
• Performs data mining and research
• Works on special projects and ad hoc reporting as required
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Must have industry knowledge of mortgage loan origination and/or loan servicing
• Basic Accounting knowledge/skills (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flow)

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor degree preferred (Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Accounting)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, SQL, MS Dynamics and Navision GL)

MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Advanced Excel skills
