ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor incoming correspondence for borrower complaints and regulatory investigationsReview correspondence for routing to correct analyst or departmentEnsure that tracking and status information are input into the company correspondence tracking systemAnalyze and summarize documents Identify trends in customer complaintsDraft and send acknowledgement or response lettersProcess cease and desist requestsGather data to formulate reply to borrower correspondenceAssure that background and supporting information is provided in correspondence package Coordinates with a variety of individuals inside and/or outside of the organization to determine the appropriate person for responding to incoming correspondence.Notify department manager of overdue and problem correspondenceMaintain appropriate records and copies of actionsAll other duties as neededQualifications ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Must possess a strong attention to detailMust be willing to take part in a fast-paced, growth environmentMust be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management including Senior ManagementMust possess strong analytical skillsMust possess a high degree of integrity and confidentiality, as well as ability to adhere to both company policy and best practicesMust set high standards for both personal and team productivity while meeting client deadlinesMust possess solid verbal and written communication skills to effectively identify client needs and help solve problemsPossess a strong internal drive and motivation for continuous improvementStrong project management and time management skillsProven ability to research issue with loan files, and to determine whether loans satisfy legal compliance requirementsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma requiredBachelors Degree is preferred3+ years experience in mortgage lending, with focus on working actively with loan filesKnowledge of mortgage rules and regulations including: Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Flood Disaster Protection Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, and Fair Lending MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE: Proficient in Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP) and Black Knight Financial Services Loan Sphere, previously known as LPSProficiency in Microsoft Office applications OptionsApply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendReferSorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
