    The Analyst II will provide total compensation support for various business lines for specified sales areas.  The incumbent is responsible for translating compensation data into actionable insights for areas such as, total pay management, incentive plan design, incentive processing, quarterly analytics, and overall project management for the supported portfolio.

    • Conduct reporting, including reporting from disparate data sources, to support business requirements
    • Assist in the design of incentive plans for assigned portfolio.  Evaluate, back-test, and recommend design concepts and mechanics.  Forecast and model performance and payout distributions against budget and prior year
    • Create presentations, graphs or dashboards to display results of reports 
    • Analyze data and reports to identify trends/insights that will influence business decisions
    • Accurately calculate and process quarterly, annual and special incentive payments
    • Assist leadership with the management of workflow coming from HR Business Partners and business leaders including promotional increases, offer support, responding to data requests, answering technical pay program questions, and evaluating non-standard requests
    • Provide support for projects which may include market research, competitive intelligence, systems/reporting enhancements, process improvements, and communications content
    • Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Sales Support Areas on a variety of cross-functional initiatives and compensation related projects
    • Provide market competitive salary/incentive recommendations by evaluating market and internal benchmarks, employee attrition, and business goals  
    • Review the job levels for each role to ensure firm wide consistency and adherence to the level structure
    • Create and maintain job/incentive codes and other relevant compensation data
    • Evaluate and partner with other areas as needed to review all new roles for the appropriate FLSA status 
    • Partner with the Comp and HRBP’s to manage distributions and budget for discretionary incentives, evaluations, and merit
    • Partner with system administrators and payroll as needed.  May build dynamic calculators to process incentives in an accurate and timely manner
    • Coordinate plan approvals and acknowledgments, develop communication materials, and build employee calculators
  • Qualifications
    • 4 Year College Degree or Equivalent Experience
    • 4 Year College Degree in Human Resources, I/O, Psychology, and Finance preferred
    • 1-3 years’ experience
    • Excellent analytical, project management, problem resolution and client service skills required 
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, set priorities in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality
    • High attention to detail 
    • Ability to create PowerPoint presentations with complex compensation data
    • Advanced Excel skills with applied experience required 
    • Ability to work effectively across teams and collaborate with others 
    • Understanding of FLSA regulations and experience evaluating jobs for exemption
    • Exhibits good judgment and logical reasoning
    • Knowledge of financial services industry landscape and current events a plus
    • Experience with PeopleSoft and Comp Analyst preferred
    • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed
