    The primary responsibilities of the Sales Specialist are selling the approval, closing the loan, and closing the sale of ancillary products

    WHAT IS A DAY IN THE LIFE AT FLAGSHIP AS A SALES SPECIALIST?

    • Heavy outbound call activity negotiating approved and conditioned approvals

    • Closing loan offers

    • Selling ancillary products, including but not limited to GAP, Vehicle Service Contracts, and Involuntary Unemployment Protection

    • Achieve and strive to exceed established funding and sales goals established at the beginning of every month

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements

    • Provide the highest level of customer service to our applicants

    • Work closely with the funding and customer experience teams throughout the loan process with a commitment to closing the loan

    ABOUT YOU:

    • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

    • Preferred: AA/AS degree, Bachelor’s degree a plus

    • Required: 3-5 years of auto finance experience preferably in the sub-prime market

    • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in the areas of sales, marketing, underwriting, and/or dealership finance

    • Computer skills to include MS Office products

    • Driven and Professional

    • Demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships

    • Ability to service high inbound call volume

    • Strong listening skills

    • Self-starter, able to set personal objectives and goals

    • Must be a team player

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

    • Well-developed presentation, relationship building, and sales skills

    • High level of accountability and ability to effectively prioritize tasks

    • Strong understanding of F&I department functions

    • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

    • Strong customer service skills

    • Dealership operations and product knowledge of ancillary programs including GAP, Involuntary Unemployment Protection, and Vehicle Service Products
