    The Manager of Loan Production Administration (COMMERCIAL) is responsible for supervising loan production administrators through the processing and closing of loan files from receipt of Letter of Interest through funding. Duties include the oversight of loan administrators as they review loan file, prepare needs list, ensuring receipt of all documentation necessary to prepare the loan file for underwriting. After underwriting, loan administrators will order and review loan documents, prepare the loan file for closing and coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely loan closing.

    Required Skills

    The Manager, Loan Production Commercial is responsible for the following;

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Solely responsible for managing the loan processing/documentation and funding functions within Business Services including adherence to policy, meeting closing timeline expectations or requirements. 

    Performance is, in part, measured by clean audits with no material exceptions noted.

    Provides training, technical support, mentoring and performs the final file review for loan Loan Production Administrators, specifically related to:

    • Reviews assigned loan files to determine documents required for each loan request. Review and ensure borrower’s formation documents are complete, review Preliminary Title Report and works with Title Officer and Escrow to resolve any issues.
    • Tracks orders for Appraisals, Title Commitments, Environmental Reports, Credit Reports and any other front-end loan documentation required.
    • Coordinates with legal counsel to the extent necessary for review of entities, underlying title documents, ground leases, SNDA’s and other loan documentation.
    • Prepares loan documents utilizing the Loan Documentation Software or third party provider.
    • Coordinates loan closing with borrower, broker, escrow officer and loan officer.
    • Attends loan documentation signing with borrowers (if applicable), explains loan documentation and answers any questions borrower may have.

    Performs post-closing verification such as filing UCCs with Secretary of State, follow up and review of final Title Policy and property insurance policy.

    Ensure that pipeline reports are updated and current at all times.

    Performs preliminary review of loan submissions and assigns Loan Production Administrator to each file submitted in a manner that evenly distributes work flow and ensures timely and accurate service level performance for business development staff.

     

     

     

    Required Experience

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

     

         KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

     

    • Extensive experience in commercial real estate loan administration and funding is mandatory.
    • Experience in SBA (7a and 504) loan administration and funding is preferred.
    • Familiarity with CASH and LaserPro software is desirable.
    • Experience with a mainframe system such as Symitar, Metavante or similar is desirable.
    • Excellent organization and customer service skills required.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and decisive decision-making skills.
    • Ability to analyze and solve problems quickly and precisely.
    • Ability to interact with staff, members and others encountered in the course of work.
    • Ability to observe and interpret people and situations.
    • Ability to perform highly detailed and accurate work on multiple, concurrent tasks.
    • Ability to use math and apply mathematical reasoning and abstract statistical concepts.
    • Ability to work under intensive deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and thoroughness.
    • Proficiency is required in Windows environment, Word, and Excel.

     

     

    EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

    Potential candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related
    • A minimum of five years of commercial loan processing and documentation experience with a Financial Institution required.
