    Treasury Risk & Controls Sr. Analyst -Overview Job Family: Finance The Finance organization is responsible for leading and participating in a number of critical functions including: supporting executive management decisions making by analyzing results, assessing strategic alternatives and developing strategic plans; communicating financial results and forecasts with critical stakeholders, including executive management and Board of Directors, shareholders and regulators; managing the Companys balance sheet, including interest rate and liquidity risks; establishes the Companys capital policies and prioritizes investments; develops and implements controls to reduce operational risk; developing and maintaining financial data and systems. The Finance organization works across functions and Business lines in the Company, requiring a broad understanding of our business, risk and strategy. Job Function: Treasury Manages and analyzes cash funds, debt, capital and interest rate risk on behalf of the company. Formulates and updates policies and guidelines on the planning and management of the companys monetary resources. Ensures optimization of income and proper investments. Plans and sources cash requirements. Summary of Responsibilities: The Treasury Risk & Controls Sr. Analyst will be responsible for issue management, audit request tracking, End User Applications assessment tracking, policy/procedure governance, updating process maps and RCMs, risk control self-assessment testing and ad-hoc projects. Essential Functions: -Develops and maintains a detailed understanding of all processes and applications related to assigned business area -Maintains up-to-date policies, procedures and manage documentation repository for Treasury department -Perform Risk & Control Self-Assessment testing or review for Treasury -Follow up on audit requests, testing deliverables and maintain log of deliverables -Enter all issues/remediations plan in GRC tool and track/follow up on progress -Assist with EUA (End User Applications) assessments -Work with business process owner to update process maps and RCMs Other Functions: -Other duties as assigned. Requirements: -Education -Bachelors Degree: in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent field. -Experience -3-5 years Relatable experience in Banking or financial services industry -Skills & Abilities -Possesses good judgment and strong analytical ability. -2 years of Audit, Internal Controls, Risk Management for FLOD or SLOD experience is preferred -Ability to work well within a team and prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously. -Ability to convey a sense of urgency and drive. -GRC experience preferred -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required. -Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills. -Detail oriented with ability to research, organize and analyze financial data. -Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, QRM, MS Outlook Competencies: -Collaboration Teamwork: -Foundational Learning and Developing -Works effectively in team settings -Shows appreciation for others help and lends a hand when needed to complete shared tasks -Execution Accountability: -Foundational Learning and Developing -Maintains professional behavior at all times in representing the company -Does all routine work accurately and on-time; is aware of own impact on others -Execution Excellence: -Foundational Learning and developing -Ensures all tasks are carried out correctly -Learns from past mistakes and ensures that they are not repeated in similar future situations -Problem Solving Solution Definition: -Foundational Learning and Developing -Collects data and relevant facts to communicate problems -Presents the general outline and direction of the solution -Risk Business Acumen Financial Command: -Foundational Learning and Developing -Can identify key financial concepts and potential operational risks within relevant area of responsibility -Risk Business Acumen Industry Acumen: -Foundational Learning and Developing -Knows who the organizations key customers and competitors are -Has basic understanding of financial services industry and how organizations operate -Risk Management Knowledge of Risk Management Policies, Regulations, Processes and Procedures: -Foundational Learning and Developing -Learns about and diligently follows established risk management policies, processes and procedures -Change Orientation Flexibility: -Proficient Applying and Executing -Adapts quickly to change and makes suggestions for increasing the effectiveness of change -Appropriately shifts attention and refocuses on new goals as a result of changes in priorities or competing work demands Working Conditions: -Frequently: Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking. -Occasional moving and lifting of equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. -Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
