    Analyst, Procurement -Analyst, Procurement-1807926 -DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: The Analyst, Procurement is responsible for overseeing the administrative and financial tasks related to the Procurement function. S/he inspects quality, arranges shipping costs, and coordinates company purchases with other departments. RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS: -Collaborates with business unit requesters to ensure purchases meet the quality, cost, timelines and functionality requirements. -Consults with business unit requests to develop or confirm specifications/needs., -Ensures purchase orders are in accordance with SOP policies and procedures., -Enters purchasing data into the applicable systems and ensure on-going data updates occur with the highest degree of integrity., -Generates various reports as needed., -Maintain cooperative working relationships with vendors to stay current with trends and technologies, products and services., -Maintains and updates inventory in real time, receiving PO's, investigating price discrepancies, and ensuring reorder points are kept., -Maintains cooperative working relationships with vendors., -Prepares purchase requisitions, tracks and manages orders, and closely monitors outstanding Purchase Orders., -Provides direct support to the team by locating any shipped goods from suppliers to our facilities, schedule services, expediting past due or soon to be due purchase orders, and prioritize deliveries according to project timeline escalating delivery issues as needed., -Submits invoices to Accounts Payable. -QualificationsEDUCATION: -Bachelor's Degree; in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, or equivalent field, or equivalent work experience of 3-5 years WORK EXPERIENCE: -3-5 years in a Purchasing or administrative role. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: -Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs., -Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities., -Communications skills supporting customer interface, supplier management, conflict resolution and team development in an environment requiring the ability to work with and influence others., -Demonstrated project management skills., -Must have interpersonal skills to interface successfully with customers, peer groups and support the purchasing team., -Proficient MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)., -Proficient understanding of business/ financial principles., -Solid research, analytical, and problem solving skills., -Strong knowledge of ERP purchasing systems., -Team player willing to get involved, ask questions, obtain support from and give support to others.
