They will monitor incoming calls and emails and respond as necessary. They will assist the Incident Managers by gathering impacts and facts related to the issues being reported to help determine next steps. The Analyst will also be responsible for making sure incidents are assigned to the Incident Managers equitably and remain aware of what incidents are currently being managed by which members of the team. Answer and triage incoming calls and emails from various lines of business who are experiencing a disruption in normal business processes. The analyst will gather impacts such as population, risk/regulatory concerns and any deadlines that are at risk to determine the severity of issue. The analyst will then communicate the relevant information to an incident manager so the incident can be managed appropriately.
