Join our team of creative and caring people of all backgrounds, and help us make a difference in the lives of others.\r\nPRIMARY PURPOSE: To perform essential administrative office duties.\r\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nPerforms on-the-job training activities including:\r\n* Answering phones\r\n* Scanning incoming mail into claims system\r\n* Indexing mail\r\n* Initial phone screening of injured workers, supervisor and doctor's office\r\n* Initial claim set-up\r\nParticipates in rotational assignments to provide temporary support for office needs.\r\nADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\r\nSupports the organization's quality program(s).\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\nEducation & Licensing\r\nHigh School degree. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred or equivalent experience as outlined below.\r\nExperience\r\nNo experience required with college degree. Prior office experience a plus.\r\nSkills and Knowledge\r\nExcellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills\r\nPC literate, including Microsoft Office products\r\nAnalytical skills\r\nAbility to work in a team environment\r\nAbility to meet or exceed Performance Competencies\r\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\r\nWhen applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.\r\nMental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines\r\nPhysical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required\r\nAuditory/Visual: Hearing, vision and talking\r\nNOTE: Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check, is required for this position.\r\nThe statements contained in this document are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by a colleague assigned to this description.
