Selective Insurance Company of America is seeking motivated, self-directed individuals to join us over the summer in our Horsham, PA location. Work and gain experience in our Excess & Surplus Underwriting Department. This is a full-time 11 week paid summer position that provides an overview of Selective's business as well as training and experience within the underwriting business area. The position includes exposure to business strategies, exciting & interesting work assignments, development of customer, vendor and business partner relationships, exposure to leadership, development workshops, internal networking opportunities, and involvement with our other Regional interns. Responsibilities This intern will be located with a team in our Horsham, PA office Will develop business acumen by working on multiple projects to support the underwriting departments growth and profitability goals. This intern would need to successfully utilize various resource materials and programs to complete projects. Candidate should possess ownership, self-motivation and management execution.
