    Job Description

    The Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing information about the company’s insurance products to its current and prospective clients, offering necessary assistance and support to the clients, and responding to client inquiries and resolving complaints or forwarding them to the appropriate department for resolution. The Insurance CSR is meant to keep clients informed and provides excellent customer service.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Provides information on Semaphore’s insurance products and services.

    · Ensures that clients make buying decisions armed with the right amount of information.

    · Analyzes client’s needs and recommends solutions.

    · Documents conversations with clients with details of inquiries or complaints and action steps that were taken on Salesforce CRM.

    · Communicates changes or adjustments in policies to clients.

    · Matches customers with new products and policies.

    · Facilitates customers application and provides customer service to resolve any concerns or error issues.

    · Provides price quotes to existing and prospective customers.

    · Maintain strong relationship with clients.

    SKILLS

    · Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

    · Ability to resolve difficult situations to client’s satisfaction.

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    · Friendly and willing to assist others.

    · A good memory for data and details.

    · Advanced computer and typing skills.

    · Must be punctual and able to work flexible hours.

    · Be a good listener and exhibit sound judgment.

    · Desire to work in a fast paced environment.

    · Able to critically analyze situations and solve problems effectively.

    REQUIREMENTS

    · 5 years’ experience as a successful Insurance Customer Service Representative.

    · Valid California Property and Casualty Broker-Agent License.

    · Life and health insurance experience required.

    · Associate’s degree required.
