Citi's Chief Operations Office is comprised of O&T Transformation Office (OTTO), the Resource Management Organization (RMO), Enterprise Resiliency, Global Program Management Office (GPMO), Chief Information Officer Council Governance, Enterprise Tools & Reporting, COO Risk & Controls, and the Chiefs of Staff teams. The Chief Operations Office organization develops and executes Enterprise Operations & Technology strategic and operational plans, as well as provides central coordination of all business office functions. The COO COS / Business Office provides support across the COO teams with Workforce Management, Productivity & Financial Tracking, Data Analysis, Reporting, Process Improvement and People, Talent and Retention activities to deliver on EO&T strategic and operational priorities including helping to manage the overall operational budget and communication efforts, while ensuring that policies and strategic metrics are enforced. The COO Business Office also coordinates across EO&T and external businesses, such as GCB, ICG, HR and Finance and other Chief of Staff offices throughout the organization. Sr Business Associate (Senior Vice President): The Sr Business Associate will play a key role in managing the budgets & financials along with headcount management and supporting recruiting. He/she will serve as a partner to all stakeholders, participate in staffing conversations and sizing the teams. The individual will track/lead all business office tasks and drive them to completion. The Sr Business Associate will also ensure People, Talent and Culture related activities are supported and embedded within the group they support. COS / Sr Business Associate will be part of the COO COS / Business Office team providing support across COO Risk & Controls. The role will collaborate with leadership team members and staff, regional and global Finance partners, HR, and members of the wider COS community across EO&T. To be successful in this role, the person will need to have strong overall strong analytical skills, critical thinking, communications and agile. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Manage key business processes such as financial and expense management, asset management, headcount & resource management
    • Review monthly departmental expenses by GOC, prepare variance analysis to forecast, prepare future forecasts and review with management
    • Prepare and update the Org charts and other departmental communications
    • Embed talent, people and culture activities into the department that align to our EOT priorities
    • Facilitate workforce management & recruiting efforts including tracking joiners / leavers, headcount analysis and forecasting (employees and 3rd party non-employees)
    • Track and ensure department compliance to all risk and controls activities
    • Prepare and publish ad-hoc reports, metrics, presentations, and internal communications as required
    • Help ensure information relating to department operations and the wider organization is kept current, applicable, and available through efficient use of Intranet and SharePoint sites
    • Maintain weekly and monthly operating reports as required
    • Lead, organize and participate in management meetings and prepare materials as appropriate

    Qualifications:

    • 5-8 years in a Business Office (BO) or similar function with experience managing financials, headcount and other BO tasks; Experience in Risk & Controls functions desired, but not required

    • Strong analytic skills including trend analysis and data quality validation methodologies with ability to assess data and make recommendations

    • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge required, including Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint and Microsoft Teams

    • Attention to detail that will be utilized to assist in data quality control and documentation consistency

    • Ability to create reporting to support departmental monitoring, governance and oversight.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels

    • Self-directed, motivated, and managed; ability to deal with imperfect information and make decisions to work towards successful conclusions

    • Demonstrated ability to work with broad range of functional teams (Finance, HR etc.) and leadership styles

    • Ability to take assignment from senior leaders and work independently to frame material and/or manage resolution

    • Comfortable working in rapidly changing environment and ability to handle constant pressure, juggle multiple demands

    • Excellent relationship management skills across all levels of the organization

    • Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in IT or business
