    WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

    The Senior Business Analyst will have the responsibility of developing countless analyses using data and creating real-time reporting that improve the business. We use thousands of attributes across multiple sources to create a balancing act of "risk or reward" for our business. Come ready to face daily challenges across underwriting policy, collections strategy, and portfolio management. The analytics team at OppFi is looking for experienced individuals who love data and to see their recommendations in action.

    This is an opportunity to get in early with one of the fastest growing players in consumer finance! This important function is the foundation for all of our decisions and an important driver of our success.

    You will report into our Senior Manager on Business Intelligence team

    Come ready to face daily challenges, including:

    • Monitoring the results of tests

    • Identifying and eliminating sources of inconsistency

    • Exploring new data sources and applications

    • Optimizing the trade-off between risk and return

    • Creating metrics for measuring OppFi performance

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field, especially mathematics, statistics, operations research

    • Advanced experience in SQL

    • Advanced experience with Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) or other spreadsheet applications

    • Programming experience with R or other statistical tools (preferred)

    • 2+ years of experience in financial service analytics

    • Experience using BI Tools to improve results (Tableau, Periscope)

    REPORTS TO: SENIOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST

    JOB LEVEL: SENIOR ANALYST

    The minimum salary for this role is $83,000 . The total compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses as well as a 1-time equity grant based on level.

    The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company's sole discretion, and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
