    How will you make an impact in this role?

    As a part of the Enterprise Events & Experiences team within Global Advertising and Brand Management, the GCS (Global Commercial Services) Events and Experiences team is focused on designing and developing exceptional experiences for our Customers and Prospects globally in support of Global Commercial Services’ business objectives.

    The Sr. Manager, Industry Events will lead American Express’ B2B Tradeshows & Conferences channel, creating a future vision for the channel and executing against the plan. S/he will oversee our E2E presence at Flagship events like Global Business Travel Association Convention and Association of Financial Professionals Conference as well as our turnkey conference presence at 10+ additional events in support of the GCS Sales & Client Management organizations. S/he will work with our creative agency to develop and execute creative concepts, oversee creative development, ensure compliance and work in conjunction with internal and external partners to deliver on business objectives - with the support of a Sr. Analyst. S/he will play a critical role in supporting go-to-market efforts through the creation of brand experiences at selected Industry Events.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Drive strategy, planning and execution of Tradeshows & Conferences channel experiences from end-to-end
    • Build B2B sponsorship recommendations and manage contract negotiations
    • Manage project timelines, event calendars, creative deliverables, project wrap-up reports and more
    • Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, and PR to deliver programs
    • Manage and collaborate with creative/experiential agency partners to ensure program is delivering on brief
    • Work with compliance teams to ensure company needs and requirements are met
    • Lead and support a Sr. Analyst, providing direction, guidance, and growth opportunities as well as career support

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 8+ years of marketing experience, preferably with experience partnering with Sales
    • Strong relationship building skills and proven success influencing Partners & Agencies/Vendors
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills a must
    • Strong project management, oral and written communication skills
    • Adaptable in a dynamic work environment
    • Proven track record of driving results

    Salary Range: $103,750.00 to $174,750.00 annually + bonus + benefits
