    Membership Portfolio Services, within our US Consumer Services Business, is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. We are developing unique and differentiated ways to strengthen the Membership Model across Amex Offers, Advertising, Dining and Marketing Technology.

    The Enterprise Comms & MarTech Experiences (ECMX) team is a global organization that sits within Membership Portfolio Services (MPS). It is American Express’ marketing services center of excellence with the charter of powering high quality, efficient, user-centric digital marketing experiences that accelerate business growth through optimized enterprise MarTech & MarOps solutions.

    You will be joining ECMX’s MarTech organization, focused on providing frictionless, flexible, and flawless marketing and servicing experiences.

    About the Role

    Reporting to the Director, MarTech AI Product Strategy, this role will help define and scale AI-native ways of working across Product, Marketing, and Operations teams.

    This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of AI transformation, product management, operating model design, and organizational change. You will help move AI initiatives from pilot to enterprise adoption while reimagining how teams discover opportunities, make decisions, build products, and deliver business outcomes using AI.

    Success in this role requires strong product thinking, operational rigor, and a genuine passion for AI. The ideal candidate actively experiments with emerging technologies and can translate innovation into practical business impact.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    AI Transformation & Scale

    • Lead the transition of AI initiatives from pilot to scaled adoption across ECMX
    • Define repeatable frameworks for evaluating, launching, and scaling AI solutions
    • Develop operating models, playbooks, and implementation approaches that accelerate value realization
    • Partner across Product, Marketing, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams to drive successful implementation

    AI Governance, Operations & Value Realization

    • Manage the AI initiative portfolio, including priorities, dependencies, risks, milestones, and outcomes
    • Establish governance frameworks that enable responsible AI adoption at scale
    • Track business impact, adoption, productivity gains, and realized value across the portfolio
    • Produce executive reporting on roadmap progress, outcomes, risks, and opportunities

    Product Management Transformation

    • Define how AI can transform product management across ECMX
    • Reimagine discovery, research, prioritization, PRD creation, experimentation, and delivery through AI-enabled workflows
    • Evaluate emerging AI tools and capabilities that improve how teams build products and make decisions
    • Partner with Product leaders to pilot and scale AI-native product management practices

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Product Excellence, Business Transformation, Innovation, Change Management, or related fields
    • Demonstrated experience driving adoption of new technologies, processes, or ways of working at scale
    • Strong product thinking and ability to connect user needs, business outcomes, and technology opportunities
    • Proven ability to influence stakeholders across complex organizations and drive alignment without direct authority
    • Strong understanding of AI, GenAI, and emerging technology trends

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA preferred
    • Experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Product Strategy, Design Thinking, Human-Centered Design, or Innovation
    • Demonstrated passion for AI, including evidence of hands-on experimentation, personal projects, prototypes, AI-enabled products, or practical application in a professional setting. Candidates should be prepared to discuss AI initiatives, experiments, products, or transformations they have personally driven.
    • Experience implementing enterprise software, AI platforms, workflow automation tools, or productivity technologies
    • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve workflows, automate processes, develop prototypes, build applications, or enhance product management practices
    • Experience within marketing technology, digital product, SaaS, or technology organizations
