Activities Assist with the design and development of software using C++, Python, and Java as the primary languages. Work with leading development and organizational tools. Build high quality solutions, delivered on or ahead of schedule. Perform complete unit and integration testing to ensure the solution meets or exceeds requirements with a zero defect mindset. Resolve issues in the production environment with the guidance of a mentor. Within the first 6 months: Become fully productive using the development tools within SHAZAMs environment. Understand current application solutions and current/future project initiatives. Develop a working knowledge of SHAZAMs applications. Integrate into the OLTP application development team taking responsibility for deliverables with the guidance of a mentor. Exhibit a high level of motivation and commitment. Qualifications Must be working towards a degree in Computer Science/MIS/BIS or equivalent. Must have completed at least one C++ course, one Database course, a SQL course, and advanced C++, python and Java courses completed or pending Available to work 20-40 hours per week Passion for development and testing Great communication skills Ability to work in a collaborative team environment Demonstrable skills using object oriented application development.
