Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Demonstrates knowledge of all retail bank products, services and specialty product lines. * Performs all functions related to opening and closing accounts including assisting customers with the appropriate selection of accounts, performing research of customer accounts, and complying with BSA and CIP requirements. * Takes responsibility for branch and individual goals through engagement with the customers and prospective customers to present and cross sell products and solutions to meet customers needs; submits referrals to other staff members or lines of business to meet or exceed designated minimum goals. * Maintains knowledge of all aspects of the teller line including processing transactions, balancing cash drawer and vault, and basic branch operations functions. * Adheres to all company compliance and guidelines and is knowledgeable of procedures and processes affecting the Personal Banker position. Complies with all security and operations procedures including but not limited to, maintaining dual control functions and company and customer confidentially. * Completes various logs and reports related to records administration. * Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training. * Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications * Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations. * Ability to write simple correspondence. * Ability to read, write, analyze and comprehend simple instructions, financial reports and/or legal documents. * Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees in the organization Required and Desired Skills & Experience * High School diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience. * Retail/Sales experience is a plus.
