To follow department procedures regarding CIF, Deposit Maintenance, Monitoring and Reporting so as to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the customer records. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: It is the responsibility of the Deposit Support Specialist to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the performance of their assigned job responsibilities to ensure accurate reporting and in turn, provide a positive experience for our customers through our various delivery channels. 1. Position is primarily responsible for processing necessary maintenance to establish and maintain accurate records for our customers; to process required maintenance and verification of deposit accounts; review daily returned mail and review NCOA weekly report; review daily Stop Payment report for accuracy; review daily COD Rate Exception report; review daily Credit Dispute letters; code accounts for Bankruptcy; monitor AOP Maintenance mailbox; process daily NAISC coding; Backup Withholding coding/B notices from the IRS; maintain Missing Signature Card Exceptions. 2. Position may require contact with other departments, branch staff or the customer in order to complete all requests. 3. Position requires that staff complete all daily work within the agreed service level to ensure timely input of changes, corrections and review of items originally processed by the branches. 4. Position requires staff to provide backup support for daily processing of the Image Deposit Review for both ATM and Mobile Deposits. 5. Position requires that decisions be made in accordance with department procedures while managing both customer service and risk. 6. Accepts other duties as assigned by the manager. 7. Requirements: Education: High School Diploma Experience: One year of banking experience required; experience in the Branch, Deposit Operations or Bank Call Center preferred ; strong verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, good computer skills, ability to adapt well to changes, very detail oriented. Training Requirements/Classes: Compliance Courses as required Recommended Additional Training: Physical Demands/Work Environment: Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents and reports.
