Squares Sales organization drives aggressive revenue growth for the company by deeply understanding our Sellers stories and helping them onboard world-class solutions to grow their businesses. The team balances an infectiously positive attitude with a drive to win and see our company grow alongside our customers.
The Sales Strategy, Operations, and Productivity (SOPS) team owns the functional workstreams that amplify the success of our salespeople. Our practitioners have a hybrid of skills across strategic planning, analytics, process excellence, and systems optimization. As an Analyst on the team, you will be contributing on some of our highest-profile projects - and working with some of Sales top leadership - to accelerate Sales performance.
This position can be based in New York or San Francisco.
YOU WILL:
Own Sales team metrics, dashboards, and analytical models we use to run the business
Consult with Sales leadership to identify growth levers and design their implementation and tracking
Understand our salespeoples pain points and modify our processes and tools for efficiency gains
Align with (and learn from) cross-functional partners in Finance, Data Science, Sales Comp, CRM, and more
Opportunity for rotation across several functional workstreams to find your specialization
Qualifications
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree required (major in analytical or technical field preferred)
3+ years of analytical experience (ideally in consulting, finance, or sales operations)
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets - elegant analyses and models
Experience with querying/reporting via SQL (Snowflake) and Salesforce
Demonstrated collaboration across functions including finance, product, marketing, analytics, etc.
Creative problem-solving skills and attitude - willingness to build new deliverables/processes from scratch
Willingness to take on big challenges and own the results from brainstorm to execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to influence others effectively
