    Job Description

    The Square for Restaurants Product Marketing team is looking for a strategic product marketer to drive and execute meaningful GTM strategies to reach our restaurant sellers. As a PMM for the Square for Restaurants team, you'll champion the customer when developing and marketing our products. Reporting to the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you'll conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand current and prospective customer needs and evaluate competitive offerings to derive insights.

    YOU WILL: 

    • Define and execute our GTM approach activating paid, earned & owned channels
    • Create differentiated product messaging and positioning
    • Drive awareness and adoption of priority products and features
    • Influence our product roadmap
    • Manage lifecycle campaigns to covert, grow and retain our customers
    • Partner with Product, Creative, Engineering, Central Marketing, Design, Data Analysts, Communications, and Sales globally
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    YOU HAVE:

    • A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
    • 5+ years of experience working in product marketing or similar go-to-market positions
    • A background in B2B marketing, preferably at a high-growth SaaS company
    • Ability to communicate with decision makers, end-users, and the broader market
    • Experience owning metrics - be comfortable tracking and reporting out on goals, measuring performance, and identifying optimization opportunities
    • An understanding of product strategy, pricing and go-to-market planning
    • Passion for Square's mission of economic empowerment
    • Empathy for our customers' pain points

    Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. Zone A: USD $152,100 - USD $185,900 Zone B: USD $141,500 - USD $172,900 Zone C: USD $133,800 - USD $163,600 Zone D: USD $121,700 - USD $148,700
