    Job Description

    Talent Acquisition is a strategic function that enables Squares growth, shapes the company culture, and identifies the talent we need to be successful. As the Business Recruiting Manager, you will partner with key Square leaders to design and execute recruiting strategies that support many functions. We pride ourselves on crafting processes and programs that align with individual teams needs, so creativity and flexibility are requirements for success. With that also comes autonomy and the freedom to experiment, which when measured effectively, drives decisions that allow Square recruiting to continually improve.

    This key role will mentor, manage and grow a team of recruiters responsible for building high performance teams as Square continues to scale globally.

    YOU WILL:

    • Responsible for driving overall success of team including managing prioritization, delegation, and overall accountability of team

    • Manage and mentor a team of high performing recruiters to meet growing hiring targets

    • Partner closely with Leadership and Hiring Managers to drive comprehensive recruiting strategies

    • Use data to evaluate, streamline, and optimize current hiring processes

    • Think creatively and bring an innovation framework to talent acquisition

    • Partner with Finance and HR to develop long-term growth plans

    • Manage full-cycle recruiting process for strategic/leadership roles

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    YOU HAVE:

    • 5+ years of recruiting experience, including at least 1 year of management experience

    • A passion for people development and a track record of coaching and motivating high performing teams

    • A data-driven approach to decision-making that leads to increased operational efficiency and effectiveness

    • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, sense of team, and a desire to learn

    • A growth mindset and proven ability to think of creative solutions

    • Extensive systems experience (ATS, HRIS, etc.)

    • A drive to improve the overall talent acquisition function
