    Job Description

    As a Product Marketing Manager on the Square Appointments team, you will have an opportunity to drive impact for the millions of small businesses utilizing our platform to start, run and grow their business. Square Appointments helps businesses in the services industry succeed by building everything they need to run their business: scheduling and online booking, a point of sale that tracks customer details, and a secure, fast payments system.

    You will work closely with product managers and creative teams to achieve the team's marketing objectives and drive growth for the business. You will have a strong emphasis on bringing a new product to market by conducting market opportunity analysis, defining messaging & positioning, and defining go-to-market (GTM) strategy. Success in this role means you can design, launch, and analyze market requirements for a product, and build marketing campaigns to grow adoption, awareness, and market share.

    YOU WILL:

     

    • Lead the end-to-end ideation, execution, and analysis of product launches to drive adoption and growth for Square Appointments in new markets
    • Be the in-house product expert and voice of the customer for cross-functional teams
    • Responsible for launching new products, determining market requirements, and establishing product positioning and messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategy
    • Drive marketing strategies that increase sign-ups, product awareness, and customer satisfaction to increase product adoption
    • Partner closely with product, growth marketing, engineering, user research, and data science to understand product performance and customer needs to inform go-to-market plans
    • Build and establish sales enablement program to ensure sales and account managers have the right materials to sell the product

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of marketing experience
    • 2+ years in product marketing or similar go-to-market experience
    • Previous background in SaaS marketing, launching products from MVP onwards with experience in either consumer apps / technologies, early stage startups, or with exposure to small business audiences
    • Experience working with product teams to define product strategy
