    Job Description

    Square is looking for an extraordinary Senior Conversion Rate Optimization Manager to help promote new user growth through our paid performance and lead gen efforts. As a member of the Demand Gen team, you'll oversee conversion rate optimization globally across all of Square's hardware and SaaS products. To achieve this, you'll lead campaign landing page testing in close partnership with Product Strategy and PMMs, partner with the public web team on homepage and lead gen page testing, and use your insights to influence test plans that span several marketing disciplines and international markets.

    YOU WILL:

    • Build and execute iterative paid landing page test strategy and analysis to improve metrics such as CVR and ROI
    • Find wins and develop processes that can be scaled across products and markets
    • Communicate insights and next steps for all Global Marketing and Product Marketing Manager teams
    • Partner with our Channel Strategy team to understand channel specific needs and best practices, and bake them into your test plan; testing will improve paid channels such as Search, Social, Affiliates, and Display
    • Partner with our Product Strategy team to understand all of Square's products, shifting messaging priorities, product feature launches, and qualitative audience insights to develop landing page content that reflects the product experience
    • Partner with all of Demand Gen on tests that span across audience targeting and messaging throughout the acquisition funnel
    • Partner with Marketing Analytics and on tracking and analyzing lifecycle data to develop new hypothesis grounded in improving acquisition quality
    • Partner with the Public Web team to build homepage test strategy and optimizations
    • Submit briefs to the Demand Gen creative team for new page builds
    • Implement landing page testing processes Internationally
    • Execute A/B tests in Optimizely and partner with Channel teams to build tests outside of Optimizely
    • QA test and control landing pages to provide a seamless experience
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications YOU HAVE:

    • At least 5+ years of CRO experience or a combined 5+ years of performance marketing and CRO experience
    • Experience designing A/B tests that produce statistically significant results
    • Experience using Optimizely, Google Optimize or other A/B testing tools
    • Basic HTML/CSS, JavaScript experience
    • Experience working with relational databases and using basic SQL for analytics
    • Experience creating dashboards using analytics tools like Amplitude and Adobe Analytics
    • Experience working in a Content Management System (CMS) a bonus
