ABOUT THE TEAM
You will report directly to our Global HR Specialist Leader for Square and Foundational Engineering and partner with the Head of People for Square and Square People Leads regularly. Our HR Specialist function at Square supports the rhythm of the business for our people and inspires operational excellence across our cyclical HR programs, employee lifecycle events, and people initiatives at scale. We are problem solvers at heart, and support our partners through HR project coordination, insights partnership, and process improvement.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Square is looking for a Project Manager on the Square HR team to help us move the needle on core people-related programs for the Square team. You will use available resources to understand where we can improve on these people processes, standardize how we refine and build consistency across employees' experience at Square, and help build an exceptional people brand.
You will work with teams such as Square People Leads, PMO, Compensation, HR Business Partners, HR Specialists, People Tech, Internal Comms, Talent, Legal, and other partner teams across the organization to ensure that we can guide process improvements to support the strategic growth of the business.

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. Zone A: USD $125,600 - USD $153,600 Zone B: USD $116,800 - USD $142,800 Zone C: USD $110,500 - USD $135,100 Zone D: USD $100,500 - USD $122,900
