Job Description

The Restaurants team at Square empowers Food & Drink businesses of all kinds to start, run, and grow their businesses through advanced workflows, specialized products, business insights, and inclusion in the greater Square ecosystem. We are looking for an experienced engineering manager to lead a product development team focused on growth and onboarding, helping restaurant owners and managers get started on Square for Restaurants and growing their use of the full platform. This team focuses on improving our customers' experience from raising awareness of Square's offerings, through product choice and evaluation, to configuration and integration across the ecosystem.
Working with the Growth product manager, you will define the product strategy and roadmap, conceive and execute on growth experiments, and work closely with our Data Science, Marketing, and Engineering teams. Our approach is both customer-focused and data-driven, meaning you will need to dig in deeply to understand our customers and be adept at analyzing the metrics to derive where gains (large and small) can be created.

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. Zone A: USD $222,800 - USD $272,300 Zone B: USD $211,600 - USD $258,600 Zone C: USD $200,500 - USD $245,100 Zone D: USD $189,400 - USD $231,400
