Job Description

Square is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager, with a background in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts to join our new and growing TIDAL legal and business affairs team. While supporting our commercial contracts will be a main priority, you will also work on procurement, and other projects to support the team. As we expand our offerings and further enhance TIDAL's service and products, your ideas and contributions will make an immediate impact. You will report to the Head of Counsel for Tidal.

You will:

• Draft and negotiate contracts including marketing, vendor services, consulting, licensing, non disclosure, and other commercial and music industry-related agreements
• Work as part of the Counsel team with other teams on a variety of legal matters with specific emphasis on TIDAL's partnerships
• Work with members of the Counsel team to develop and improve applicable forms and processes
• Manage outside vendors, attorneys and coordinate efforts across other teams

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience drafting and negotiation experience at technology companies or law firms
• Experience in music and entertainment contracts
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating several commercial, partnership, licensing and other technology related agreements
• The ability to meet deliverables on time and work in an evolving and growing environment that is prone to changes
• Experience with Google G-suite, Microsoft Suite, DocuSign, contract management systems, and project management tools
