    Job Description

    The Account Management organization is looking for someone to lead our Enterprise Account Managers. The team is focused on the retention and growth of our highest-value existing sellers, and partners closely with an end-to-end deal team to establish new deals from Enterprise Sales.

    You will coach and develop a motivated team whose efforts will continue Square's journey up-market. You will develop processes, tooling, insights and metrics that ensure our ability to grow the program. Your in-depth experience building executive understanding of customers as well as advising in the negotiation of high-value contracts will be important to your team's success.

    You will have lengthy experience consulting, solutioning or direct-selling to companies within the enterprise market segment. You will also have experience leading teams, performance managing results and advocating internally for customers. Stand-out candidates find their energy from building things and generally feel comfortable operating in the unknown.

    YOU WILL:

    • Coach, develop, and lead a distributed team of senior Account Managers
    • Consistently achieve positive revenue outcomes while maintaining a high ROI
    • Bring an executive presence to high-value customer pitches and contract negotiations
    • Create operational efficiencies through stream-lined repeatable processes
    • Identify and recruit passionate team members both internally and externally to Square
    • Promote an environment of trust and collaboration throughout the deal process
    • Always lead with curiosity and empathy to support your team
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    YOU HAVE:

    • 8+ years experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales
    • 4+ years experience coaching people and leading teams
    • Experience in a metrics-driven sales organization
    • Experience developing teams in rapidly growing environments
    • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and communication skills
    • Experience working for a start-up
    • Bachelor's degree or higher
