JOB DESCRIPTION
Fraud Risk Management (FRM) helps enable profitable business growth by reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining our customer’s confidence in the security of our products. FRM is also accountable for building the infrastructure to manage the emerging risks associated with e-commerce and internet services.
The Point-of-Sale (PoS) US Card Not Present Fraud Risk team is looking for energetic and high-performing Senior Analyst to drive innovation in Card Not Present fraud risk area. You will have the power to identify interesting and actionable insights that would have a meaningful impact on our customers and our business. You will be responsible for developing and implementing new strategy and capabilities for fraud prevention. These new capabilities would utilize our rich data. In addition to managing fraud strategy for specific segment under Card not present, the responsibilities will also include working with Product and Technology teams for platform modernization work. To succeed in this role, you would need to have a very good blend of technical skills, innovative thinking and collaborative skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop new fraud prevention control strategies for Online spend
Minimize Unprofitable Fraud Related Disruptions, with specific focus on Fraud Strategy Controls
Develop and manage fraud capabilities for 3DS and Digital segments
Conceptualize and implement new data features which would help in reducing approved fraud
Address Emerging Fraud Trends & Monitor Key Metrics to take Corrective Actions
Providing thought leadership for new payment product integrations
Lead integration of new data sources
Partner with Global Servicing, Decision Science on key fraud initiatives
Work closely with different Fraud and Technology teams to ensure robust fraud strategy framework for any new proprietary product launch
Lead platform modernization and migration efforts in close partnership with Technologies, Capabilities and Product teams
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have:
2+ years of experience across analytics, strategy, and execution in complex environment
Undergraduate / master’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
Experience with data processing tools such as R, SQL, Hive, Yellow Brick, or Python is required
Understanding statistical techniques related to data analysis and correlation
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms is a plus
Working knowledge of fraud landscape and emerging fraud trends in the card space is a plus
Understanding of payment products, emerging technologies and competitive landscape is preferred
Ability to manage multiple requests and changing priorities and to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Proven track record of working proactively and independently to solve problems and drive results
Strong presentation skills to convey data and fraud insights to different stakeholders
Ability to build collaborative, trusting relationships
Strong project management and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment. High energy, intellectually curious and infectiously positive.
