The ICRST First Line Financial Crimes team is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Value Co-Creation (VCC) team. VCC is a collaborative way of working that brings together Business, Product, and Technology partners throughout the product lifecycle to identify dependencies, make decisions, and deliver outcomes faster.

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable, end-to-end solutions across multiple technology domains. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to translate business objectives into robust technical solutions, while helping drive execution across complex initiatives. This role requires strong technical depth, ownership, and the ability to navigate dependencies, risks, and evolving requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and own end-to-end full stack solutions across frontend and backend systems.
• Collaborate with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Build modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript, focusing on performance and usability.
• Develop backend services and APIs (Node.js or similar) with strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to system design and architecture discussions, providing pragmatic and scalable solutions.
• Identify and help resolve dependencies, risks, and technical challenges across value streams.
• Leverage AI-powered developer tools and agents to improve productivity and accelerate development workflows.
• Use AI-assisted approaches for code generation, debugging, and testing while ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Review and validate both peer and AI-generated code for correctness, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.
• Debug and resolve complex, cross-system issues in production environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and automation efforts.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend appropriate adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-8 years of software engineering experience with full stack development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript across frontend and backend.
• Experience with React, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend architecture.
• Experience building backend services using Node.js (or similar technologies).
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs; GraphQL is a plus.
• Solid understanding of system design and scalable application development.
• Experience working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern application architectures is a plus.
• Knowledge of web accessibility (WAI-ARIA, WCAG) and SEO principles is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., copilots, chat-based assistants, or agent workflows).
• Ability to critically evaluate and improve AI-generated and human-written code.
