    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Be part of an Agile team responsible for design and development of micro-services for the next generation product implementations, including: Design, Development, Unit test cases, Bug Fixes, Code Review, Testing, and Technical Documentation
    • Develop Java/Springboot microservices code, frameworks and patterns with guidance from more senior developers
    • Validating technology capabilities in areas such as performance, scalability, and capability
    • Interface with internal development teams on large-scale, multi-tier product development
    • Understand the overall architecture of the web application.
    • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features in Java/Springboot microservices or Angular
    • Maintain code integrity and organization.
    • Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.
    • Understanding and implementation of versioning, logging, auditing, security frameworks
    • Responsive design and development following best practices

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other Technology-related field
    • Graduation date on or before December 2023
    • Ability to work on a full-time basis for the entire duration of the internship
    • Opportunities available for Summer 2022

    EXTRA POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

    • Familiarity with OOD/OOP design and patterns, primarily in the Java domain
    • Experience with Microservices and cloud services and tools
    • Strong analytical, structured problem solving, and decision making abilities
    • Ability to work on a team and independently as needed
    • Ability to adapt to quickly changing project requirements and continuous feedback
    • Familiarity with Agile development practices and good software engineering practices
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
