The TPRM team was recently formed to comprehensively analyze and assess security risk across The Standards portfolio of supplier relationships. We work closely with a wide range of stakeholders both within IT and across the entire business. Responsibilities The successful intern candidate will participate in reviewing suppliers to determine the level of assessment to be performed, helping incorporate supplier data into a newly-built RSA Archer system, and be part of the TPRM team in helping refine and document processes. Qualifications The following skills will assist in a successful internship in this position: Business acumen (ability to understand business functions and processes) Excellent business communication skills Basic understanding of types of cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) Good end-user technical skills (Windows, Office applications) Additional technical and/or information security skills are helpful Basic understanding of security, IT, and business compliance frameworks and processes (SOC1, SOC2, SOX, etc.) Standard Insurance Company, The Standard Life Insurance Company of New York, Standard Retirement Services, Inc., StanCorp Equities, Inc. and StanCorp Investment Advisers, Inc., marketed as The Standard, are Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity employers.
